FACT #5

FACT #1 Snacks are OK in moderation and should consist of items like fruit, whole grains, or nuts to satisfy hunger and not cause excessive weight gain.

Most kids by the age of 10 in the US have fatty streaks in their arteries.

FACT #2 Avoid eating a large meal before sleeping to decrease gastroesophageal reflux and weight gain.

FACT #3 Avoid rewarding children with sugary snacks; such a pattern may become a lifelong habit for people.

FACT #4 Eating breakfast regularly will also help keep weight off because it gets your metabolism going.

FACT #6 A study found that levels of fatigue and depression improved after a 30-minute session of moderate intensity exercise. This is because exercise improves your cardiovascular health which means that more blood and oxygen flow around the body, therefore giving you more energy.

FACT #7 It might only take you a few minutes to finish a meal but it takes your body around 12 hours before it has completely digested the food.
