Challenge to Change

This fun and creative class introduces toddlers to the world of yoga through animated poses, books, music, crafts, and games. Little yogis will enhance fine motor skills, develop coordination, and practice self-calming techniques through breathing exercises. Get ready to go on a journey where we will roar like a lion, swim with the dolphins, and soar like a butterfly. Each child must be accompanied by an adult caregiver to attend this class.

During this weekly class, yogis will explore the practices of yoga + mindfulness! Our classes provide preventative social and emotional skills benefiting the mind, body, and emotional state. Your child will learn to connect their body and mind through stillness, movement, breath practices, games, creativity, and more. Join our amazing JR Yoga Teachers, along with Ms. Krissy, in this fun and engaging class.

All levels welcome. Mats provided. Instructor Coleen Frenzel is an experienced yoga instructor who believes yoga to be essential for mental, emotional, and physical health. Program is in partnership with Catholic Charities Archdiocese of Dubuque. Sign up at www.mfcdbq.org. Drop-ins are always welcome, but please arrive a few minutes early so you can register in-person.

Chair Yoga - FREE Program! Multicultural Family Center

Join Pam Connolly, certified group fitness instructor, as she leads you to a safe alternative to strengthen you mind and body. Chair yoga will increase flexibility, enhance muscles, and improve balance and core strength- all without leaving your seat! This program is free. Registration is required.
