This chart reflects the actual amount of sales tax for the General Fund received for the last 4 fiscal years ending June 30, 2021. Sales tax collections for FY20-21 were up, ending the fiscal year at an overall net increase of 6.61% over the prior year. YTD collections (through November 2021) for FY 21-22 are up from FY20-21 by 7.40%

Executive Director/CEO The Government Finance Officers Association of the United States and Canada (GFOA) has given an Award for Outstanding Achievement in Popular Annual Financial Reporting to the City of Edmond, Oklahoma for its Popular Annual Financial Report for the fiscal year ended June 30, 2020 . The Award for Outstanding Achievement in Popular Annual Financial Reporting is a prestigious national award recognizing conformance with the highest standards for preparation of state and local government popular reports.

In order to receive an Award for Outstanding Achievement in Popular Annual Financial Reporting, a government unit must publish a Popular Annual Financial Report, whose contents conform to program standards of creativity, presentation, understandability and reader appeal.

An Award for Outstanding Achievement in Popular Annual Financial Reporting is valid for a period of one year. City of Edmond, Oklahoma has received a Popular Award for the last eleven consecutive years (fiscal years ended 2010–2020). We believe our current report continues to conform to the Popular Annual Financial Reporting requirements, and we are submitting it to GFOA.
