Honoring Police "Officers of the Year"

Golden Officers Honored For Service Through COVID-19 Pandemic

Congratulations to the 41 Golden Police Officers – and one K-9 – who were honored for their service as “Officers of the Year” in 2021 by Police Chief Bill Kilpatrick. The award nominations are submitted by employees and final selection by the Chief of Police. Typically, the award honors one exemplary law enforcement officer, however this year Chief Kilpatrick chose to honor all law enforcement officers who served through the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic. Thank you to these Golden Police Officers for their service to the community!
