Look at all that lovely, cool blue water in the photos on our cover! High Point Parks & Recreation is happy to announce the reopening of the pool at High Point City Lake Park for the first time since August 2019. It is now open seven days a week with some exciting new features and ready for you to come check it out! The train and carousel at High Point City Lake Park are now running daily as well, or you can enjoy a few rounds of mini golf or time on our playground. Ticket prices for park amusements vary; please visit our webpage for more information.

The spacious pool at Washington Terrace Park is also open daily; this location features an accessible playground donated several years ago by the Kiwanis Club of High Point. The Splash Pad behind Southside Recreation Center is open extended hours, too – this is the perfect way to cool off quickly in hot weather! We’ve provided all the details for you on page 3, plus some bonus information on water-based recreation programs for the whole family as we kick off the summer of 2023. Come “Play. Learn. (and) Enjoy” with us!
