High Point Parks & Recreation offers high-quality, affordable summer camp programs with arts and crafts, indoor and outdoor play and social time in a safe environment. Register for all programs by visiting our website or calling our office at 336.883.3469.

Discovery Sports Camp (Ages 6 - 9 & 10 - 12)

Discovery Summer Sports camp is an opportunity for athletes to learn new skills and sharpen their abilities over the summer. Staff and camp counselors with vast sports experience will facilitate this exciting program!

Morehead Recreation Center

Mondays - Fridays, July 10 - July 28, 8 a.m. - 6 p.m.

$50 per week

Registration is per week in either age group. $10 nonrefundable/non-transferrable deposit required for each week.

Summer Tennis Camps (Ages 6 - 18)

This camp for beginners covers all the basic skills of tennis, enabling each player to move to the next level. Learn how to keep score, learn the rules and etiquette of the game and learn how to rally and play points against one another to make learning the game fun and easy!

Our Intermediate Camp players are near the competitive level. Emphasis on point play will be stressed, as well as proper technique and court movement. These players are beginning to understand the importance of more serious tennis focus and play.

Oak Hollow Tennis Center

Monday - Friday, July 10 - Aug. 18, 9 a.m. - noon

$150 registration fee per week, $40 drop-in per day

Trailblazers Camp (Rising Grades 7 - 9)

Summer camp for older campers offers opportunities to develop leadership skills and a passion for recreation. Ours is filled with arts & crafts, field trips, team sports and much more. Be prepared to have tons of fun with plenty of laughs, smiles and adventures! Campers will receive a t-shirt. No camp Tuesday, July 4.

Oakview Recreation Center

Mondays - Fridays, July 3 - Aug. 11, 7:30 a.m. - 6 p.m. $80 per week, $70 per additional child ($64 for July 3 week)

Registration is per week. $10 non-refundable/nontransferrable deposit required for each week.

Camp Ann (Ages 11+)

High Performance Summer Camp (Ages 14 - 18)

If you are interested in competing at the high school or tournament level, this tennis camp will help prepare you for success! Comprised of drills and competitive play, our focus is on developing footwork, fitness, technique, rallying skills and competitive tactics and strategy.

The Miracle League of High Point: 2023 Fall Season (Ages 5+)

Everyone deserves the chance to play baseball! This program teaches youth, teens and adults with physical, intellectual and developmental disabilities the foundational skills of baseball through game play, sportsmanship and social engagement with peers. Super Social Supper Club (Ages 8+)

Learn the basics of restaurant etiquette through this fun and social program. Learn how to place a food order, pay a bill and calculate a tip. All registered participants need to bring money, arrive at 6 p.m. and be picked up by 7:30 p.m.

Looking for some weekend fun? Bowlers, friends and families of all abilities are welcome. Ramps are available if needed. Bowlers will pay High Point Bowling Center directly for their games, not to exceed two games per week. All bowlers must be registered and paid by 9:45 a.m. each week.
