Beginners Ballet for Seniors (Ages 50+)

Ballet is an excellent way to practice balance and improve fitness! Our class will incorporate beginner ballet steps and poses along with simple, fun dance combinations to help with posture, strength and flexibility. Chairs may be used for stability if needed; participants should dress in comfortable clothing and bring a water bottle.

AHOY (Adding Health to Our Years) (Ages 50+)

Our exercise program is a chair-based, low-impact movement class designed for all levels of fitness! Routines include stretching, range of motion and strength-building exercises plus a little bit of dancing! Participants are encouraged to bring water and their own set of light weights. Please note, the program will not be held on City-observed holidays.

Senior Boot Camp (Ages 50+)

Are you age "50 and better" and searching for a vigorous workout program? This class includes cardio, a core workout and strength training with workout stations. A doctor's note is required to participate.

Tiny Tots Rec Discovery (Ages 1 - 3)

Each session includes an organized craft activity and snack. Fun activities will stimulate motor, cognitive and communication skills. Parents must be present with child(ren) during the program.

Builders Academy (Ages 6 - 12)

This program builds basic skills in science, technology, engineering and math though a fun series of projects, games and challenges.

Tuesdays, Sept. 5 - Oct. 10, 6 - 7 p.m.

$25 registration fee, per session

Learn to Sail Lessons (Ages 12+)

Classes are run in an open-air classroom with hands-on experience with sailors and members of the Oak Hollow Sailing Club. Life jackets will be provided.

Monday - Wednesday will meet at Sailboat Point; Thursday & Friday will meet at Oak Hollow Marina.

Monday - Friday, July 24 - 28, 10 a.m. - 1 p.m.

$175 registration fee, per session

Dog Obedience (Ages 18+)

Qualified instructor will teach owners and dogs basic commands and social skills. Dogs must be at least eight weeks old. Participants must bring the pet's shot records, a six-foot, non-retractable leash, a choke collar and treats.

Active Living Every Day (Ages 50+)

A certified instructor will lead you through this program, focused on ways to be active every day: at work, at home, even on vacation. We will learn and practice behavior change skills such as goal setting, self-monitoring and social support. Please come by the Senior Center or call to register and commit to active living every day!
