Learn more when you bring your toddler and dig with a PEC naturalist. You’ll even get to make your own worm-in-an-apple craft to take home!

Community Garden Plots (All Ages)
Community gardens provide opportunities for people from diverse backgrounds to work side by side towards common goals of improving food security, increasing fruit and vegetable intake and leading healthier lives. Participants will donate 10 percent of their harvests to local food organizations. Call for more information about community garden plots or to register.

NC Year of the Trail Hike (All Ages)
Please join PEC staff for a monthly hike on High Point’s trails and greenways! Each hike will begin at 9 a.m., take 1 - 1.5 hours and vary in mileage. Please wear closed-toe shoes and bring water. Meet at PEC’s visitor center unless noted. Registration is required.
