Three Irving Parks Get New Playgrounds
Trinity View Park, Rodeo Park and Mountain Creek Preserve
This fall, construction crews will be installing a new playground at Trinity View Park, 2221 E. Highway 356.
The new facility will replace one that is nearly 30 years old. Among the features of the new playground will be an updated shade structure that will serve the added benefit of blocking foul balls.
The City of Irving also recently replaced playgrounds at Rodeo Park in Valley Ranch and at Mountain Creek Preserve.

There are 114 play units across the city. Parks and Recreation team members conduct regular inspections and track maintenance for all of them. Those reports, combined with data on the facility’s age and use, help them determine which playgrounds will be recommended for replacement.
