The Irving Parks and Recreation Department’s Fall Activities Brochure is now available!

It provides information on how to schedule, sign up and register for the upcoming camps, classes, programs and activities available through December. The guide includes schedules by age groups and information for all Irving recreation centers. Pick up the Fall 2023 Brochure at any recreation center or view online at CityofIrving.org/RecSchedules

Parks and Recreation Activities

AFTER-SCHOOL PROGRAM

Register for one of Irving’s recreation center after-school programs.

Elementary students participate in a variety of activities including homework time, games and crafts in a safe, supervised setting. The programs are offered on school days between the hours of 3:15 to 6 p.m. The cost is $180 per six weeks. Space is limited. Visit CityofIrving.org/IrvingRec to register online.

Learn the fundamentals of photography and explore your personality through your own camera.

In celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month, the Heritage Senior Center will be demonstrating how to prepare popular Latin American dishes and desserts. Participants will have the opportunity to learn and sample recipes.

 Vendors Wanted for Heritage Craft Fair

Ages 18 and older | $30

Register as a craft vendor by Oct. 20. The Heritage Craft Fair will take place Nov. 3-4.

Take a trip to the aquarium and discover life under the sea.

 Sept. 30 | Pickleball Palooza

9 a.m. to 5 p.m. | Ages 18 and older | Free

This is a come-and-go event where players of all levels can come out and enjoy their Saturday. All players must bring their own paddles and balls.
