THE SANATORIUM
Central Florida’s premier Scripted and Themed Haunted Theatrical Experience. “Dead Men Tell No Tales.....” October 26 & 27, 2012 7pm till 10pm at the Lake Mirror Centre Theatre. The earliest historical records of Lakeland identify a post Civil War Sanatorium that was built in 1872 on the site where the Lake Mirror complex is now located. That Sanatorium mysterious burned to the ground in 1876 and it was reported that the conflagration could be seen for a distance of 10 miles. There were no survivors. The site since that time has had a history of being a magnet for paranormal activity. Flash forward to today…. during the recent renovation of the Theatre last year construction workers unearthed a strange looking wooden box with metal binding straps. The workers presumed it was a treasure chest from a Spanish Galleon. Upon breaking the rusted locks and chains the men where disappointed to find the strange box empty……..or was it? Four days later all the workers who came in contact with that strange box fell mysteriously ill and died….”Dead Men Tell No Tales”......dare to experience the Terror of the Sanatorium. Not recommended for Children under 12.
