QUICK START TENNIS (AGES 6-MIDDLE SCHOOL)

This format utilizes modified tennis balls, smaller racquets and court dimensions to provide a successful learning experience and lots of fun for players 6-10 years old. Progression is from red, orange, green to yellow (adult) balls. Ball, racquet and court transitions are based on a natural progression in technique, skill, athleticism, and age. Because each child matures differently, it is important to realize children of the same age and differing abilities may move fluidly between colored ball types (red to orange OR orange to red) based on their successes and need to improve individual specific tennis skill techniques such as serves, forehand and backhand.
