LEE’S SUMMIT SYMPHONY
The Symphony performs concerts each year and also provides youth education through partnerships with the Lee’s Summit R-7 School District and MCC-Longview. Under music director Russ Berlin, more than 70 talented musicians with a passion for sharing their music with Lee’s Summit and the surrounding communities give hundreds of hours of their time to the Symphony each season. MCC–LONGVIEW CULTURAL ARTS CENTER
MCC-Longview Cultural Arts Center is a visual art and entertainment venue. The center is host to public community concerts, theatre, meetings and professional art exhibits. It’s also used for activities such as the Longview Literary Festival, community and student art exhibits and academic theater/music performances. POTTER’S HAVEN ART STUDIO
Come paint some pottery and express your own creativity. Choose from a variety of ready-to-paint items to create your own one-of-akind works of art that will be fired in the kiln and ready for pick-up at a later date. For those younger artists, Potter’s Haven also offers smaller pieces that can be painted with acrylic paints and taken home the same day. Walk-ins are always welcome!
