Tallgrass Tour: History of Flight

We’re off to Topeka for a day of flight and fun! First, visit the Museum of the Kansas National Guard, where the Soldiers and Airmen of Kansas are shown gratitude. Then enjoy lunch at a local favorite, Lonnie Q’s BBQ! The trip finishes at the Combat Air Museum where we will explore 40+ aircraft from the earliest aviation periods to present day. Round trip travel and tour fees are provided. Participants are responsible for lunch. The tour leaves the Flint Hills Discovery Center at 9 AM and returns no later than 5 PM. Ages 8+ only. Pre-registration is required by Friday, August 4 at 5 PM.

We’re off to Salina for an exclusive behind-the-scenes tour of the K-State Aerospace and Technology Campus! First, visit the K-State Salina Aerospace and Technology Campus for a day of VIP treatment with hands-on experiences and behind the scenes tours! Explore an exclusive view of flight line operations and the aviation maintenance hangar. Before heading home, we will stop at a local favorite to eat lunch! Round trip travel and tour fees are provided. Participants are responsible for lunch. The tour leaves the Flint Hills Discovery Center at 8:30 AM and returns no later than 4 PM Ages 8+ only. Preregistration is required by Friday, June 23/Friday, July 14, respectively at 5 PM.
