GORDON’S WHARF

A fun family activity is exploring the beach at Gordon’s Wharf, on the banks of the Miramichi River. Bring along a picnic, enjoy the shoreline, and take in the charming surroundings. Recreational boaters have access to the slip, docks, and wharf during daylight hours. Canteen and washrooms are on site.

Tabusintac Marina And Lighthouse Interpretative Centre

Open from June to September, they have a marina and slip on the Tabusintac river and a lighthouse that is open to the public. Check out the views from the top while enjoying a cone of hard ice cream.

Ritchie Wharf

‘Shipbuilding’ is the theme of this charming, alluring waterfront park in Miramichi, NB, and it has been a favourite attraction for both locals and tourists since 1991. You can dock or launch your boat or embark on a river boat tour of the river or fishing charter. Enjoy waterfront dining with a spectacular view. Within walking distance to the downtown shopping in the Newcastle Business District and accommodations, Ritchie Wharf is a great place to spend the day with your family!

Visit a working fishing wharf and chat with local fishermen about their trade. Wishart Point Road, Tabusintac NB

Station Wharf Marina

Offering 550 feet of mooring facilities with water, power and pump-out station, the marina features dedicated berthing for visiting recreational boaters as well as ocean going yachts. The Visitor Information Centre located there provides endless information about activities within the region.

POINTE-SAPIN LIGHTHOUSE (REAR RANGE)

This 1903 salt-shaker style lighthouse is located 8km north of Kouchibouguac National Park, on a very small parcel of land adjacent to residential properties. This lighthouse is operational and an active aid to navigation. For your enjoyment, there is a beach across the road with limited parking.
