Sessions are six weeks unless otherwise stated.

Wee Tumblers • Ages 1½–3

Both the parent and child will both be actively involved in all activities. This includes music, streamers, hoops, parachutes and ball activities. Basic rolls, crab walks and cartwheels are introduced. Min/Max: 5/10

Tiny Tumblers • Ages 3–4

This child-only class is for young preschoolers. Activities include music, streamers, hoops, parachutes and balls. Basic rolls, crab walks and cartwheels are introduced. Min/Max: 5/8

Tumble Tots • Ages 4–5

This class is for the more experienced preschooler. They will begin to use more of the equipment to develop their strength and flexibility. Min/Max: 5/10

Beginning Tumbling • Ages 5+

This tumbling class will start to cover major skills. Forward rolls, backward rolls, bridges, tripods, handstands, cartwheels and splits are all introduced. Min/Max: 5/10

Intermediate Tumbling • Ages 5+

Prerequisite: Beginning Tumbling and teacher recommendation; must have backward roll and cartwheel mastered.

Advanced Tumbling • Ages 5+

Prerequisite: Intermediate Tumbling and teacher recommendation; must have backbend kickover and 3-second handstand hold mastered.

Lil’ Ninja Warrior • Ages 3–6 Junior Ninja Warrior • Ages 5–9

Participants will complete obstacles, build endurance and strength, learn tricks and have fun, ninja style! Min/Max: 5/10

Martial Arts

Tae Kwon Do • Ages 3–5, Ages 6–9, Ages 10–16 and Family (Ages 5 – Adult)

This six-week Martial Arts program will focus on the traditional Korean form of Tae Kwon Do known as Chung Do Kwan. This style is based on explosive movements, devastating power and self-discipline. All students begin training at the “no belt” level. Students will progress through a series of techniques and belts at their own pace and will not necessarily test each session. Children who would like to progress at a faster pace may register for more than one class. Min/Max: 7/20

Civic Dance Studio

This great 9-month dance program encourages students to practice and improve throughout the school year and culminates with a year-end dance recital. New students can be accepted into the program at any time. Classes are held at the Krekel Civic Center, 305 Civic Park Drive, O’Fallon 63366.

Civic Dance Studio classes emphasize correct technique, placement, elegance and discipline. Class typically includes a warmup, progressive steps across the floor and dance combos. Ballet classes include ballet and en pointe at the barre. Tuition does not include the required dance class attire (dance shoes, leotards or tights) or recital costumes. Civic Dance Studio also has a Competition Team. Private lessons are also available. For the school year, choose one of the options listed below. All options are signed up as memberships and we will automatically draft the amount on the fifteenth of each month. This requires you to fill out a tuition form, which can be found at www.ofallon.mo.us/civic-dance-studio.

Registration opens: Residents and Renaud members: Saturday, March 6 at 7 a.m. Non-residents: Monday, March 22 at 8 a.m.

Field trip/in-house activity costs are included in the fees! Our qualified counselors will coordinate activities and supervise campers. Campers must bring sack lunches, a snack and drinks daily; no refrigeration is available for food. Registration is made on a first-come, first-served basis with a limited number of spots for each session. Please note, camp themes and field trips are subject to change without notice. Campers must be registered at least two weeks in advance, and sessions must be paid in full at that time. Registration closes when the session is full, or two weeks before camp starts, whichever comes first. When you register, we need your email address so we can send weekly updates about camp. Adventure Camp at O’Day Park • Ages 8–13

Adventure Camp is held at O’Day Park, the City’s newest park south of I-64 off of Highway DD. Each one-week session will have a new theme with fun activities, crafts, and games. Campers will love the adventure playground, trails and outdoor feel this camp has to offer! All ages will be integrated together daily. Before and after-care will be available, too.

Transportation to Alligator’s Creek Swim Lessons now being offered at Camp GATOR!

Let us get your child to swim lessons this summer! Sign up for the 9:35-10:10A or 10:15-10:50A swim lessons at Alligator’s Creek, and campers that are also registered for Camp GATOR will be escorted by camp staff to the pool for their lesson. When enrolling for the swim lesson, be sure to check YES! when asked if your child will be attending Camp GATOR. Please note, transportation ends on August 5.

This six-week program offers formal job training with our professional staff. Student counselors will practice newlylearned skills through role-playing and on-the-job training exercises. Our goal is to train our staff of tomorrow, so applicants undergo a rigorous selection process and must be willing to commit to set schedules in order to participate. Interested candidates must apply first and go through a formal interview. If chosen, an approved applicant can then register for the program. This is a competitive program and we will be limiting the number of spots offered. Applications are available online or at the front desk. Senior Tai Chi

This class is for those who wish to gently strengthen and tone their muscles, increase joint flexibility and promote better balance in a fun and encouraging setting. Working while seated or standing and with instrumental music to focus breathing, the flowing, meditative movements of gentle stretches and graceful Chen-style silk-reeling motions allow participants to work at their own pace and comfort level. Tai Chi for Arthritis for Fall Prevention

This program is designed to be a safe and effective exercise for a wide range of ages and conditions including arthritis. It uses the Sun Style of Tai Chi with its Qigong exercise to benefit balance, flexibility, mobility, coordination, management of arthritis and health in general. It is taught all over the world to prevent falls. Ask about a discount for SilverSneakers and Renew Active members!

Pickleball

Did you know the Renaud Center offers pickleball? Whether you are a beginner or a veteran of this popular game, you are welcome to play during our set times. Pickleball play is free for members, and guests can play for a $3 discount on daily admission. (Pickleball play only, please.)

Silver Social Hour

Grab a friend or two and sign up for this exciting new social hour playing a few board games or your favorite card game.

Every other Thursday afternoon at the Renaud Center (2nd

and 4th Thursdays of the month), you can choose from a variety of games, including chess, checkers, mahjong, bridge and a few others. Coffee and ice water will be provided. Please register at least a week in advance.

Bridge Club

Join us for cards, coffee and friendship! This active club meets twice a month on the 2nd and 3rd Wednesdays of the month, and coffee and cards will be provided. Registration ends five days before the program’s start date. Please register early to make sure we have enough players to keep the program from being canceled.
