Before you go, you should know...

• Having fun can be messy. We recommend not wearing new or expensive clothes to programs. • Indoor shoes are great for playing and running, they are much safer than sock feet.

Children 5 and under

Drawing Skills - Junior i $ Does your child love to draw? They will learn basic techniques needed to draw portraits, landscapes and abstract drawings using media such as pencils, markers, pastels and charcoal. Age: 5 to 9 years Location: Arts Resource Centre

Dance

Ballet - Preschool i $ Children will learn the basics of ballet in this noncompetitive, structured program, focusing on fun, improving balance, and enhancing coordination skills. A mini recital will be held during the last class. Participants should wear non-marking shoes. Age: 3 to 5 years Location: Donevan Recreation Complex

Hip Hop - Preschool i $ Introduction to the steps and moves of hip hop dancing. Age: 3 to 5 years Location: Donevan Recreation Complex

Acro - Intro i $ This introductory program combines a child’s love for jazz dance and gymnastics. Jumps, cartwheels, and other acrobatics will be incorporated into the class dance routine. Age: 5 to 7 years Location: Donevan Recreation Complex

Sportball Multi-Sport Outdoor -Parented

Build self-esteem and confidence with creative and non-competitive skill development in baseball, basketball, soccer, tennis, and golf. Participants must also register for course ID 29994 for a MultiSport Ball and sling bag which will be distributed at your program. If you purchased this equipment for the winter or spring session, you do not need to purchase again. Age: 2 to 3 years Location: North Oshawa Park

Learn to Skate - Parent & Child i $ P New skaters are introduced to the fundamental skating skills with the assistance of a parent. Instructors lead parents and children through various games and activities to make the child reach a comfort level on the ice. Parents must have competent skating ability in order to help their child during the program and may only accompany one child on the ice. All program participants (adult and child) must wear a CSA approved hockey helmet on the ice. Bicycle and ski helmets are not permitted. A face mask and gloves/mitts are strongly recommended. Age: 2 to 5 years Location: Delpark Homes Centre

Sportball Soccer Outdoor - Parented

Sportball soccer focuses on the fundamentals of soccer, including throw-ins, passing, dribbling, and goalie skills. This program enables children to implement the soccer skills taught in order to play a soccer game with success and confidence. Registration in the outdoor spring program includes a jersey; the summer program includes a jersey and ball. Participants must also register for a multi-sport equipment kit course ID 29963. Age: 2.50 to 3 years Location: Northway Court Park

Free Drop-in Playground Program

Ages 5-12 years Play Leaders will provide fun and engaging opportunities for children aged 5-12 years at a variety of park locations. Participants will play games, make crafts and enjoy other activities.

Morning Locations: Monday to Friday, 9:30 a.m - 12:00 p.m. Afternoon Locations: Monday to Friday, 1:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m.
