CINEMATOGRAPHY AGES 7–13

An introduction to digital photography and cinematography. Learn the aesthetics of visual arts by telling a story through still-image and short scenes. Participants create a portfolio of visual, non-narrative work by learning key cinematography concepts, such as composition, lighting, color, and tone. Discover the importance of camera angles, shot sizes, and camera movements, and learn basics of Go-Pros®, gimbals, and drones. Digital cameras and equipment provided for camp use.

BEST OF BROADWAY & DISNEY AGES 7–14

Join us on the big stage! Participants develop skills in both acting and improv, take a fantastic dance class, and dive into vocal technique! Learn songs, dances, and roles with lines while creating 10-minute mini-Broadway musicals.

Photography

AGES 9–15

Express your creativity through photography! Participants create a portfolio, learning how to organize each picture to fully showcase it. Participants learn about lighting, glare, angles, cropping, framing, editing, and other details that can make a photo the best it can be! Cameras provided for camp use.

Influenced by Viola Spolin’s philosophy of imaginative play, we play fun acting games that focus on creating a character, telling a story, staging, acting technique, and more! Laugh and learn while we develop confidence and creativity! Beginners to advanced actors welcome!

Digital Music

Do you have ideas on how to make current songs sound even more awesome? Make your own rhythm by mixing songs and beats! Participants learn how to use music software, DJ software, and turntables to tweak timing and sound effects. Please Note: songs created at camp are for personal use only.
