Vacation Station

Ages: 6-12 Location: EMNECC & Plumas Gym Vacation Station features group games, crafts, sports, reading, free time and field trips all under the supervision of trained staff.

Weekly:

$115 per week per child

Monday-Friday 7am-6pm

Sierra Kids

Sierra Kids is a quality recreational enrichment program for children who need a safe, supervised environment before and after school. Homework assistance is available during the after-school sessions. Sierra Kids’ friendly, qualified staff aim to develop the self-esteem of all participants in a positive environment. Times vary according to the school site. Due to COVID-19, no daily fees available. Must register for entire semester with payment plan.

Creative Ballet

Ages: 3-6 Learn the fundamentals of ballet and creative dance by using imagery, props and basic dance steps. Tights, leotard and ballet shoes are required.

Ballet/Jazz

Ages: 7-12 Students will learn basic and intermediate dance techniques with stretching and conditioning. Loose-fitting clothes are required. Must register prior to first day to participate. Contact Monique at Art in Motion (775) 527-9843 for pricing and more information.

Karate

Ages: 4+ Cost: $55 per month (4-10 years), $65 per month (10-16 years), $75 per month (18+) or $125 per month (family membership - 2 or more) These classes teach traditional Japanese-style karate, using the same training principles as in traditional karate dojos throughout the world.

Dog Obedience

Ages: 8+ years (people) & 4+ months (dogs) Cost: $90 per session DogManGuy.com (775) 265-4530 Instructor Guy Yeaman will teach your dog the basic obedience commands. Each dog will need a training collar (choke chain, martingale, harness, etc.) and a four-foot to six-foot fabric or leather leash. Written proof of updated dog shots must be shown at the start of class. Results are guaranteed. Contact Guy for more information.

Junior Lifeguard Program

Ages: 11-14 Cost: $150 per two week session Lauren Kaz (775) 657-4651 Provides participants with a base knowledge of water safety and the skills required to become a lifeguard by emphasizing fun and physical fitness through a variety of in-water and dry land activities. Upon successful completion, participants will earn their American Red Cross First Aid and CPR/AED certification, valid for up to two years from the date of completion!
