New, Renovated or Expanded Parks

Installation of a new playground structure is expected to be completed by June of 2023. Reconstruction of the tennis courts is expected to start in the spring of 2023 and is expected to be completed in the summer of 2023. One of the two tennis courts will be converted to four pickleball courts with all playing surfaces being renewed with asphalt.
Teglia’s Paradise Park
Playground upgrades are currently being designed and will include new play structures and an innovative “ninja style” fitness course. A new restroom building is also planned in the upgrades. Estimated completion is summer of 2023.
Robinhood Park
Many park amenities will be replaced and upgraded, including the basketball courts, playground, and picnic area. This project is currently in the design phase, and construction is expected to start in March of 2023, with completion expected by July of 2023.
Mayor’s Park and Dorothy McAlinden
Park
Upgrades to begin in the spring of 2023, and is currently in the planning phase. Planned upgrades to these parks include a new playground, grass flat fields, and irrigation system upgrades.
Reno City Plaza
Two new skate park elements were installed at City Plaza, bringing the total to six elements.
