The Paddocks DID YOU KNOW? The Paddocks has come a long way from its original state as a derelict farmland, adversely impacted by stormwater from the Para Hills residential area. The Paddocks now provide habitat for many common, unique and rare plants and animals – whilst many live here, some also pass through. These include: the common Pacific Black Duck & the New-Holland Honeyeater, native fish, frogs, yabbies, the less common Chestnut Teal, Superb Fairywren, Black-faced Cuckooshrike & the Australian Reed Warbler.

Challenge 6 QUESTIONS: NOW’S YOUR TIME TO GO AND EXPLORE! Take a walk along one of the numerous walking trails through the shrubs, leading the way through the wetlands, picnic areas and sports fields. See what unique animals and fauna you can discover along the way. Feeling active? Grab your footy and have a kick on one of the many ovals on offer.

Start this challenge at the Para Hills Community Club car park, time to discover and explore!
