Are you interested in music? Always thought it would be cool to be a radio presenter? Interested in learning new skills and being on radio? Jibba Jabba Radio is a project that gives nine young people the opportunity to run their own radio show from the PBA FM community radio station in Salisbury. No experience is needed as you will gain FREE industry training to assist in presenting the Jibba Jabba Radio show from PBA FM radio station. Jibba Jabba Radio has two intakes per year in January & July. Participants will work in two teams over a 6 month period and meet each Wednesday night 4 - 7pm to research, develop and record Jibba Jabba Radio. To be involved you need to be 16 to 25 years and live, study, volunteer or work in the City of Salisbury, the City of Playford or the City of Tea Tree Gully.

Youth & School Industry Awards The Youth and School Industry Awards are in their fourth successful year and celebrate the achievements of individuals and organisations that work with, and support, young people in the northeast region of Adelaide. The Awards recognise the important role that young people play in the community and the development of positive links in learning and earning. There are nine categories in this year’s Awards and nominations are now open. All winners will receive awards to the value of $300 at a presentation to be held at Sfera’s Park Suites and Convention Centre on Wednesday 26 October 2011. If you know a young person, group or organisation in the City of Tea Tree Gully that has made a positive contribution to the community that deserves recognition, please consider nominating them. Twelve25 LAN Silly Hats!
an oppotunity for young people to share how councils can best market to youth and get them involved in the things that council does- not just youth focused things. Young people can give feedback about councils promotional material, the facebook page and website and let us know what forms of media are the best ways to get info to young people.
For 2 years now, Twelve25 LAN has been about gamers getting social, having fun and meeting new people in a safe environment. Participants bring their computers, consoles, controllers, etc. all of which is linked to each other through network cables.

Gawler Rivers Path Council is about to install four new cyclist/pedestrian footbridges that will bring Council’s new walking and cycling path along the river close to completion. The project will be a fantastic recreational asset for the local community and visitors. The new sealed path will be about 8km in length and will link Dead Mans Pass to Clonlea Reserve via the North and South Para Rivers.

The Remedy is a Hip Hop project that runs during the October School Holidays. Young people aged 15-20 work with professional artists to create a Hip Hop DVD. Workshops are run over 6 days and specialise in Hip Hop Lyric creation, Dance and Film Making.
Join voices with like minded pop music fans at Glee Club on Tuesday afternoons from 4-6pm. Males and females from 13 – 30 sing together for fun and personal development with each Glee Term including a recording, youtube video clip or live performance.

Join Big Band veteran and all round nice guy Randall for a weekly jam with people that play love to be a part of the Big Band. This all ages music group requires your own instrument and basic music skills so everyone can play along, have fun and get some extra practice in on a Monday night 4 – 6pm.
