FAMILY HISTORY RESOURCES Find My Past Find My Past is a UK based online genealogy service. Two subscriptions to this database are available for use within the Salisbury West Library and the Len Beadell Library only. These can only be accessed via the library PCs. Access to this database is FREE. Ancestry Library Edition Ancestry Library Edition is an American based online genealogy service. This database can only be accessed via the PCs and Wi-Fi within the library. It is available in ALL public libraries in S.A. Access to this database is FREE.

We are looking for people making a new home in Australia to be involved in sharing their stories with us in a short film which we will showcase to the community. Learn how to create your storyline, use filming equipment, edit and publish your finished product. The finished product will be shared with the community using social and online media. You drive the topic as we facilitate the learning of new multimedia skills which you can use to follow future pathways into training or employment.
SOCIAL SUPPORT Salisbury Garden Club Second Tuesday of each month Come along and meet like-minded people with green thumbs and swap knowledge and ideas in a social environment. COST: $3 per person Wheels in Motion @ Bagster Wheels in Motion is a program designed to help people gain the driving hours needed to get their provisional licence (P plates). Working to complement the youth program at Twelve25, our program caters for people 26 years and over who have had four lessons with a qualified driving instructor and attended the WIM forum.

VOLUNTEERING Driving Mentors (needed URGENTLY) Are you someone who is patient and likes to help other people? Have you had a driving licence for two years or more? Bagster is currently recruiting mentors for Wheels In Motion @ Bagster. Driving mentors will work with people 26 years old and over that are on their learner’s permit, to support them to get their driving hours. Contact the centre for more information.
