Celebrate NAIDOC week with skilled weavers from Marra Dreaming as they guide you in creating your very own woven basket. Age: Seven to 12 years Cost: FREE. Spaces are limited, bookings essential.

An exhibition of LEGO masterpieces created by the talented participants of the Bricks and Bots after-school sessions will be showcased in the library and will be available to view throughout the school holidays. Drop in event. No bookings necessary. Age: All ages Cost: FREE

Origami is the art of paper folding at a certain place and order. Children can have some great fun making origami butterflies, mini box, crane, boat, mini envelopes or jumping frogs. This activity helps to build up and develop fine motor skills and hand eye coordination. Bookings essential. Age: Six to 12 years Cost: Gold coin donation

THURSDAY 12

GooRoo’s LEGO Animation workshop teaches students how to create their very own ‘Brick Films’. Participants will get a behind the scenes glimpse of what goes into producing animation on a professional level. Workshops are designed to inspire and provide the knowledge and tools to start making movies at home. All Lego is provided but kids are also welcome to bring in their favourite sets to work with.
