Round 6 Are you interested in music? Always thought it would be cool to be a radio presenter? Interested in learning new skills and being on radio? We are looking for 9 enthusiastic and committed young people to be trained up as radio presenters! No experience is needed as you will gain FREE industry training to assist in presenting the Jibba Jabba radio show from PBA FM radio station in Salisbury. Participants will work in two teams over a 6 month period and meet each Wednesday night 4pm - 7pm to research, develop and record the Jibba Jabba radio program. To be involved you need to be 16 to 25 years and live in the City of Salisbury, the City of Playford or the City of Tea Tree Gully. Always wanted to learn how to Knit? This workshop will have you creating your own warm and wooly artworks in no time. Learn to cast on, pearl, knit one and two. You will learn the skills to be able to make your own scarves, socks and warm winter items. (Bookings Essential)

Gawler Youth Film Festival The Gawler Youth Advisory Committee presents the Gawler Youth Film Festival 2012. Submit a 5 minute film for a chance for your entry to be shown at a Gala Film Night in August and to win the top prize or the people’s choice award. The Competition is open to all 15 to 19 year olds living or attending school in the Gawler, Light, Barosssa and Mallala council areas. Find us next to the Modbury Medical and Dental Clinic at 926 North East Road, Modbury. We are warming up for winter; learning the art of the perfect latte, embracing traditional crafts, (but twisting them just a little bit) and getting the heart rate up with some fitness bootcamps. Fitness Bootcamp

This workshop will give you an insight into learning basic Auslan /sign language including greetings, finger spelling and learning the alphabet. Learn ways to communicate non verbally using body language. Don’t miss this interesting skill development training opportunity.

Come get active and join us for two fitness bootcamp sessions with Sign in2 Fitness. With a focus on kickboxing, the workshop will be sure to get your heart pumping! Wear comfortable clothing, sneakers and bring along some water. Two sessions are available. One session for girls only and the other is a mixed gender session.

Paralowie Youth Services - Case Management

A Drop In program run fortnightly at Anglicare SA Elizabeth for same sex attracted young males under the age of 25. The group is an informal Drop In for young guys to have fun. Clients are under no obligation to engage in any of the activities that are offered, they can just be in the space if they so choose. Our goals are to give young gay men a safe space to connect and hang out. We want to provide a place to build networks and friendships within the local community, and a safe place to build resilience and confidence with like-minded others. You may also learn about health and wellbeing and about issues that are directly related to you in a safe and welcoming environment.

Are you aged 12 - 25 years and need to talk to a youth worker or need some help to sort out some challenges? This is a free service on Tuesdays, 4 - 6pm by appointment at Twelve25 Salisbury Youth Enterprise Centre, 17 Wiltshire Street Salisbury.

ARA offers young people support related to their education and employment pathways through casework and runs an after school “Homework Club” program to support high school students.
