THE JOB: Diversity, Inclusion, and EEO Officer This management position is responsible for planning and oversight of the City’s diversity, equity, inclusion, access, and Equal Employment Opportunity strategic plans, programs, initiatives, policy operations, and activities. Some of the typical duties of this role include: • Reviewing existing City and departmental policies, processes, and procedures for disparate impacts; • Making recommendations and modifications to remove biases from City policies and processes; and • Monitoring and evaluating compliance with federal and state EEO laws, guidelines, and policies to ensure fair and equitable employment and contracting practices.

THE BENEFITS
· Retirement – CalPERS, 2.5% @ 55 formula with single highest year compensation for Classic Members. New CalPERS (PEPRA) Members formula is 2.0% @ 62 with a 3-year final average compensation.
· Long Term Disability - 60% of monthly income up to $6,000.
· Sick Leave - 8 hours per month, 96 hours per year.
