Background
• Park land was dedicated by the developer of the Summerhill area to the City in 1997 • A Master Plan of the approximately 2.6-acre Park was also produced in 1997 • Play equipment is original from the 1998 construction • December of that same year the Park name changed from Summerhill Park to Colgan Creek Park
