About the Settlement Funds

• The City filed a claim with PG&E to recoup 2017 wildfire damages not covered by federal or state aid or insurance • The City received a settlement of $95M from PG&E in July 2020.

• There are no restriction on how the settlement funds may be spent. • City Council wants to hear from you to help prioritize how best to invest the funds within our Santa Rosa community.

Rebuild Fire Station 5 in Fountaingrove that was destroyed in the fires Cost: $14.5M

Repair roads damaged during the fire debris removal mission Cost: $24M

Repair sidewalks damaged during the fires & the debris removal mission Cost: $4.1M

Remove fire-damaged hazardous trees in open space and on private property that pose a threat to public safety and to maintain defensible space. Cost: $5.1M


PG&E Settlement Funds Additional Needs There are many additional needs to create a more resilient Santa Rosa.

City Council is asking for your input to help them prioritize the use of the settlement funds to build a stronger City and community.
