These two newly created positions will be members of the department leadership team and will be essential in modernizing the workflow of either Benefits and Leave Administration or Employment Services (recruitment, selection, classification and compensation).

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE: The Principal Human Resources Analyst sets the tone for divisions of work in the department and will support several large-scale change efforts over the next twelve months. The ideal candidate must have expertise in the area of oversight, be an agent of organizational change and provide guidance and mentorship to employees in the assigned area.
· Retirement – CalPERS, 2.5% @ 55 formula
plus 2 to 3 “floating” holidays per year depending on years of service.

· Sick Leave - 8 hours per month, 96 hours per year.
· Long Term Disability - 60% of monthly income up to $6,000.
