ABOUT
The Santa Rosa Housing Authority (SRHA) was established in 1971 with the purpose of ensuring adequate,
decent, safe, and sanitary housing for income-eligible households in Santa Rosa. The SRHA consists of the Santa Rosa Housing Trust and Rental Housing Assistance programs, which are responsible for improving the quality and affordability of housing in the City.

monthly housing assistance payments for more than 2,000 households in Santa Rosa. This includes vouchers for low-income individuals and families, veterans, people experiencing homelessness, and disaster survivors.

The Housing Choice Voucher Program is a federal subsidy program that helps low-income families afford market-rate, private rental housing. Voucher holders pay 30-40% of their monthly income towards the rent. The SRHA pays the balance of the rent to the owner within reasonable limits.
