The Santee Teen Center is an after-school and summer break drop-in recreation program designed for pre-teens and teens in grades 6–12, up to age 17.
Annual Membership Fee
Only $48 for Santee Residents and $63 for NonResidents. Financial aid available. Don’t have a Teen Center membership? Come check out the Teen Center for your 1st time for FREE!
Daily Activities
Daily programming consists of a variety of indoor and outdoor recreation activities. Homework assistance is available on a daily basis. Teens at the center are involved in the programming and are encouraged to help design and implement the daily activities.
Professional Staff
The center is staffed by City of Santee employees who are certified in first aid and CPR, have completed specialized teen-oriented training and have passed a Department of Justice background check. Our low staff-to-participant ratio offers a safe, well supervised experience and personal connection with each teen.
After-school Transportation
Due to an ongoing bus driver shortage, transportation to the Santee Teen Center has been suspended until further notice. We remain in contact with the Santee School District and will provide updated information as it becomes available.
FREE! SD Nights at the Santee Teen Center Activities for ages 10-17, no membership required.
SD Nights is a part of the County of San Diego Department of Parks and Recreation’s strategy to engage, equip and empower youth in San Diego, giving them tools to make better decisions, build strong character and improve their quality of life.
