Sport for Life Day Camps

These camps are designed to start your child on their lifelong journey of participating in sports for life. There are two main components to the camps; physical literacy development and teaching them how to play pickup/sandlot games.

Physical Literacy Physical literacy is the ability, confidence, and desire to be physically active for life.

Unstructured Free Play Unstructured free play teaches children how to work collaboratively, to share, to negotiate, and to resolve conflicts.

Did you know? The Stoughton Parks & Recreation Department was highlighted in the prestigious Aspen Institute Project Play's Physical Literacy Report as a model agency due its physical literacy efforts.

She has her Master's Degree in Exercise Science and worked for the YMCA of Metro Chicago as the Fitness and Sports Director before recently moving back to Wisconsin.
