COOLING CENTERS OPEN IN VALLEJO THIS HOLIDAY WEEKEND

The upcoming heatwave is predicted to heat up throughout the holiday weekend, with the hottest days coming this Sunday through Tuesday.

In anticipation of the extreme weather, the City will be opening cooling center locations as follows:

SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 3, 2022 2 p.m. – 7 p.m. Norman C. King Center (545 Magazine Street)

SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 4, 2022 2 p.m. – 7 p.m. Norman C. King Center (545 Magazine Street)

MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 5, 2022 2 p.m. – 7 p.m. Vallejo Room (505 Santa Clara Street)

As a reminder, all Solano County Library branches are also operating as cooling centers. Visit solanolibrary.com for their hours of operation.
