COMMUNITY PULSE Communities In Schools of Ohio is the local CIS affiliate. Communities In Schools is the nation’s leading organization dedicated to empowering at-risk students to stay in school and on a path to a brighter future. Often, a student’s personal circumstances disrupt their chances at success even before they enter the school building. Whether it’s food, school supplies, health care, counseling, academic assistance or a positive role model, Communities In Schools is there to help.
