Pedestrian diversion plan

• We will continue to work with each individual business when we move the works to right up to the property boundary / shop door.

• Access to businesses will be maintained, however several pedestrian diversions / new accessways will be required due to the extremely close proximity of the works to the businesses, and for safety reasons. In some cases small bridges will be used.

• Not all businesses will be diverted simultaneously – we work in a staged approach to minimise pedestrian confusion/overwhelm.

• All of our usual construction effects mitigation measures will be in place and we will continue to work with the shop owners on wayfinding, signage and business support.
