Five Awarded 2012 Paul J. Falco Scholarships

For the 14th consecutive year, Paul J. Falco Scholarships have been awarded to students from the Village of Marble Cliff who demonstrate outstanding scholastic and leadership qualities. The late Paul J. Falco, who served as mayor of the Village for 36 years, was an ardent supporter of the Village, its residents and the pursuit of lifelong learning. The generosity of the endowment created by Falco and his wife, Bobbie Hall Falco, provides the opportunity to recog- nize talented Marble Cliff youth seeking a college education.

Jack Kukura, Marble Cliff Village Council member and the Paul J. Falco Scholarship Committee chairman, presented Falco scholarships to five Marble Cliff students during the Grandview Heights High School Annual Award Assembly held in May. The 2012 recipients are Gretchen Giltner, Hallie Kerr, Emily Lachey, Conner Sarich and Caitlyn Sarich.
