Start or Move Your Business to Westerville

Before a new building in the City can be occupied or used, or before a new business can occupy or use an existing building, a Zoning Certificate verifying compliance with the development standards and use requirements of the Planning & Zoning Code must be issued. In most cases, the zoning review can be done in conjunction with a Building Permit or Change of Occupancy Permit.

Walnut St. A deposit is required from customers who rent or lease the premises in which electric service is provided. The City offers a number of ways to pay your utility bills. Tax Information

Westerville levies an income tax of two percent on income earned within the City.
