City Council

Worthington City Council members elected in November for four-year terms take office the following January. The seven council members are responsible for appointing a city manager.

The president, selected by the council, presides over City Council meetings. The president pro tem assumes the duties of the president in their absence. Both positions have two-year terms.

Parks and Recreation

The City of Worthington Parks and Recreation Department manages the programs and facilities located at both the Community Center and Griswold Center, as well as more than 200 acres of parkland within the city.
