CB gearing up for 4-Year BBA CB is to play a leading role in the 4-year BBA Programme. The new developments were introduced by Professor Eden Yu, Associate Dean (Undergraduate), at the College’s August retreat. From 2012 CB will be closely involved in delivering the College core curriculum, in coordinating the annual admission exercise, and in promoting the BBA programme worldwide. The College core curriculum will be spearheaded by the capstone courses, CB2505 e-Business and CB4303 Strategy and Policy. e-Business is a brand new course exploring themes such as the impact of e-business on traditional practice, the design of e-business processes, and hybrid ‘bricks and clicks’ environments. CB will also take a lead in the BBA Programme promotion campaign through channels such as the CityU Info Day, school visits, overseas recruitment, and web-based promotion. These initiatives will help boost the CB brand and bring us more into line with our competitors worldwide. As a strong unitary entity we will be well placed to move towards world-class business school status.
Dean meets with Secondary School Principals As part of CB’s BBA promotion exercise, the Dean has been meeting with secondary school principals to discuss new admission requirements for the 4-year degree. Last semester alone the Dean met with 45 principals from top schools around Hong Kong. CB will continue in its efforts to update high school principals and students of developments in our 4-year curriculum.
