ICAEW Business Game Tuesday 17 October 2017, 18:30 – 21:00 at Bunhill Row th
This session gives you an insight into chartered accountancy, and is designed to highlight that as a chartered accountant you are a business adviser and do not just deal with money matters. We have several business game scenarios which have been adapted from the ACA final case study examinations. The format of each business game differs, but a typical challenge involves looking at the financial overview of a company, carrying out a SWOT analysis and making key strategic business decisions and recommendations. You will then present your findings and recommendations back to the Board of Directors of the company in the case study. You will work in a team and take on the role of ACA students, and you will use and develop your business knowledge and commercial awareness. The format is also a great preparation for assessment centres as you will need to use and develop communication, time management, team working and presentation skills. ALL UG
