How we support our students Below we have highlighted all the student services which support City’s students on a daily basis. You will be able to ask members of staff and representatives from these services questions in the Student support & experience chat room throughout the evening.
Accommodation City offers a variety of accommodation options and support services for postgraduate students. The Accommodation team, based in the Student Centre, can assist you to find suitable accommodation in our halls of residence – located within easy traveling distance from the main campus – or in private accommodation for the duration of your postgraduate study.
Library Services Library Services offer a huge range of resources to support your studies at City. Our printed collections are complemented by a vast portfolio of online resources (e-books, e-journals and specialist databases).
Academic Learning Support A member of the this team can answer questions relating to academic support.
Student funding Tuition fees differ according to the course you have chosen to study, whether you are a home/ EU or international student and the level of qualification.
Student Counselling, Mental Health and Accessibility Service This team provides counselling and guidance around mental health, disability and neurodiversity (dyslexia, dyspraxia, ADHD).
International Student Recruitment team Choosing a university and studying overseas may be one of the biggest decisions you will make, but you are not alone in this. The International Student Recruitment team is here to advise you about studying in the UK at City.
International student advice and compliance The International Student Advice and Compliance team will also be available to advise you on anything related to visas and immigration and to support you in your student journey.
