THE EAGLE LEGACY
To you, Men of Chaminade, the EAGLE is a symbol. King of birds, it stands for the highest ideals that can be attained by creatures. As no bird soars higher into the skies so no Man of Chaminade should take second place in attaining closeness to the God Who made the skies. Symbol of strength and beauty among it own kind, it should inspire imitation, leading every Man of Chaminade to develop in himself the strength of body to lead a vigorous, wholesome life and strength and beauty of soul to inspire and lead others of his kind to virtuous striving and Godly living. Like the EAGLE, be a king in heart and mind. Reach for the highest goals. Be a tower of strength and the embodiment of spiritual beauty so that you, too, may be the inspiration, the symbol of all that is greatest, highest, and noblest among God's creatures. Only then can YOU really deserve to be called and claim to be ... MEN OF CHAMINADE.

"This must be an active class," says Brother Ed to Brother John.
Our teachers gather spiritual knowledge from the Divine Teacher.
SENIORS now, we are leaving these halls of knowledge, but this leave-taking will in no way sever the memories we cherish of our four years here at Chaminade. The staunch comradeship of real friends, the guiding words of our teachers, the spirit exhibited at sports events, the serious job of study, the fun we had participating in activities will be long remembered. As we move forward on the path of life, taking on newer and increased responsibilities, the ties which bind us to our Alma Mater become stronger for here we built the ~oIid foundation of a Christian philosophy upon which we can lean in moments of triumph or sorrow.

ACTIVITIES are numerous in the Halls of the Green and White. Each student can find some activity to suit his taste and talent. Religious activities hold the primal place in our Catholic S~hools, and Chaminade is no exception. Academic, cultural, social, and service activities provide a variety of opportunities for the students to foster extracurricular interests and leadership. The multitude of co-curricular interests encourages the development of the whole man, leads him on to discover new interests and awakens a desire to mingle cooperatively with others in the pursuit of the finest things in life.
ACTIVITIES
