Cheers! Our high school con often be thought of as one large community composed of smaller, more closely I~nit families. One af those families is the C-J Cheerleaders. Clinics are held befare the May tryouts with only the girls who con show the spirit, enthusiasm, and smile that every cheerleader needs being as/~ed to join. Once accepted, 'plans for camp are made where the girls learn the !otest techniques used in building routines, stunts, and pyramids. Once school starts, the girls are thrust onto the sidelines of football and soccer fields where they put to use all they have learned at camp. They cheer to arause the crowd and chant to bring the Eagles to victory. When the D-ballers begin to dribble and the wrestlers begin to gropple, the girls bring it on inside to once again cheer and chant; ta puff and pant. This year the cheerleaders competed in the Dayton Mall Cheerleading Invitational where they placed 1st in division AA and Jrd averall out of 15 teams. Runner-up in spirit.
