MAY BULLETIN APRIL RECAP: One Million Bones Focus

4,150 BONES MADE BY DIVISION 66 KEY CLUBBERS

Last month there were a lot of events focused on the One Million Bones project. We became a part of a nation -wide initiative. The 4,150 bones we made will be installed at the National Mall in Washington D.C., and will serve as a visual petition against genocide.

On April 20th we laid down the bones around the school roundabout for the garden

groundbreaking ceremony. And after that, on April 25th, the project “continued on to PSU, where there was a One Million Bones installation.

MAY BULLETIN WHAT’S UP: CCDPI CLUB: Hey Key Clubbers! AP week(s) is finally here; have you started studying yet, or are you upholding the student tradition of waiting (hopefully not less than) 3 nights before the actual test? Better get your focus on because the next Key Club meeting is pushed back until after AP testing. The latest and greatest fundraiser for Key Club, at California Pizza Kitchen, will be held at the Clackamas Town Center location on the 24th. Bring your family, friends, and most importantly, the flyer! We need to make this a major success.

Community: Last month we participated in the (One Million Bones and) Conflict-Free City Initiative that aimed to raise awareness about (genocide and) where the minerals in our electronics come from. Understand the impact of your electronic devices. In other news, the H&M and I:CO green initiative is still going on. You still have a chance to clean your closet, save the earth, help the community, and get 15% off vouchers at H&M.
