BACKGROUND Hi.  We're  Claire  and  Mareli  (or  as  Mareli  likes  to  think  about  it,  "We're  Mareli  and  Claire").  Business  partners  for  a  while,  and  friends  for  even  longer,  we  like  to  discover  new  places  and  meet  interesting  people. Â

With  six  years  of  experience  in  the  photography  and  styling  industry,  Claire  has  been  a  studio  manager,  production  coordinater,  food  stylist,  photographers  assistant,  retoucher,  and  props  tracker-downer.  She  went  from  school  straight  into  the  industry  and  has  developed  a  passion  for  food  and  for  Cape  Town. Â

Mareli  did  the  responsible  thing  and  went  to  university  where  she  flopped  around  being  pseudo-intellectual  and  Dreaming  of  Changing  the  World.  After  graduation,  she  spent  a  year  working  in  Japan  before  returning  to  Cape  Town  where  she  shamelessly  started  following  Claire  around  in  an  attempt  to  do  what  she  does. Â

Together,  Claire  and  Mareli  are  a  styling,  prop  wrangling,  and  production  duo.  We  are  constantly  on  the  look  out  for  inspiring  people  and  places.  Whether  working  on  stills  or  film,  we  are  ready  for  any  challenge. Â
