July SOSP: BEE Clean

What does SOSP stand for?

SOSP stands for Spotlight on service program. Every month we have a different organization that we direct our service projects towards.

Infographics for Pollution

Our club is hosting an Infographics for Pollution event to fulfill the BEE Clean SOSP. On July 21st, we will be making infographics to inform our community of the consequences of pollution and the steps we can take to make our planet a better place. Contact Claire Tseng for more info!

What is BEE Clean?

BEEing Clean is the practice of keeping oneself or one’s surroundings clean. With school out and summer in session, remember to give back to your community by keeping the environment clean and healthy! There are a variety of ways to promote the cleanliness of the environment such as a picking up litter in a local park or recycling goods.

With climate change now taking effect in our community, it’s the perfect time to take care in making sure we reduce our carbon footprint. Simple daily changes such as using public transportation more often, utliizing compost and recycling bins, and participating in large scale events such as ocean cleanups and informational rallies can all help us BEE clean.

This July, look out for Carlmont Key Club’s Infographics for Pollution event. These infographics are important to inform others of how they can help preserve our planet from harmful elements.
