WHAT WILL I LEARN?

At the end of the course, you will be able to understand and respond to different types of spoken language, communicate and interact effectively in speech for a variety of purposes, understand and respond to different types of written language and communicate effectively in writing.

You will study all of the following themes on which the assessments are based:

Theme 1: Identity and Culture: 1: me, my family and friends; relationships with family and friends; marriage/partnership. 2: technology in everyday life social media; mobile technology. 3: free-time activities music; cinema and TV; food and interest in the language and the culture of Spanish speaking countries. people both in speaking and writing. eating out; sport. 4: customs and festivals in Spanishspeaking countries/communities.

Theme 2: Local, National, International and Global areas of Interest: 1: home, town, neighbourhood and region. 2: social issues; charity/voluntary work; healthy/unhealthy living. 3: global issues; the environment; poverty/homelessness. 4: travel and tourism.

Theme 3: Current and Future Study and Employment covers the following topics: my studies; life at school/college; education post-16;
