A day in the life of a Year 7

Our ambassadors are here to help and mentor you during your first term at Clapton Girls’ Academy. They are in Year 7 now and will be in Year 8 when you start your CGA journey.

Everyone at Clapton is happy to answer any questions you have.

Don’t worry about starting secondary school. You will feel comfortable to be who you are at Clapton.

The student ambassadors and teachers are always there to support you. You don’t need to be scared if you get lost, everybody does in the beginning. There is always someone around to help you

Try everything, find your way. even if your friends aren’t doing them.

You will make new friendships along the way.

Always be open to meeting new friends because everyone is new to Clapton and feeling just like you. The start of Y7 is a great time to try new things and make new friends.

Be yourself, you don’t need to be nervous
