BOAVISTA COLLECTIVE This project, born from my personal need and experience, is the ultimate goal of a Minimum Viable Product (MVP) test launched in January 2019 through Instagram. Aiming to create a place were nature and travel lovers can easily interact and find quick plans to escape their Mon-Fri routine and, after a year of development, I created an organic community of more than 5K people interested in the product.

THE PROBLEM
“How do we make trip planning fast, fun and easy for millenials who are Mon-Fri workers and who want to escape routine?”
GOALS
Quickly Browse Structure content in a way that encourages interaction, easy skimming, and accessible entry and exit points
Customized search 60% of millennials turn to Instagram for inspiration on where to go and what to see, considering it vital to be seen as a “traveller” rather than a “tourist.” However Instagram is messy and lacks specific features for this audience since you need to be a good detective to plan your trips with it.
Use of personalized filters in order to speed the search leading to a perfect route fit.
Organized Saving Enable users to effortlessly save and access their personal library of routes and trips.

As a 27 year old designer, she enjoys breaking her weekly routine going on trips during weekends, which is why she uses Google Maps and travel blogs like a pro to discover amazing places. But with almost no time left, she feels overwhelmed with the amount of irrelevant info she finds online.
His biggest passion is photography and he would go anywhere, anytime to capture the best shot. But his work limits his spare time which is why he needs to have pinpointed some amazing places nearby to go afterwork.
They are the dream team, inseparable. However, Kelly works all week and she doesn’t have all the time she wants to spend together enjoying nature. So weekends are their golden ticket. Unstoppable, they would walk any path of a forest, beach or moutain to afterwards go relax in a pet friendly cafe.

THE SOLUTION The look Considering our target audience, I wanted to create a look and feel that would resonate with a young generation used to social media and digital content. For this reason, the visual direction of this app is simple, intuitive and organized following similar UI patterns to other social media apps.

The structure This four sections, explained in the graphic below, were born after lauching the MVP and created to fit user real needs.

“What do we need to transmit as a newborn tech startup so investors and customers trust us?”
GOALS
Consistency Refectlinhg values and culture through well-defined components is essential to positively impact how customers feel about your brand.
State-of-the-art technology The ever-changing technology scene creates an interesting dichotomy of old and new: while tech companies are part of a fresher, booming industry, they must still utilize the longstanding traditions of solid branding to launch and succeed.
The best products don’t always make the most successful companies so it’s essential that a brand promise communicate your Unique Sale Purpose .

THE BRAND This is the final result of the Raytrack brand creation and its corporate applications. The project was moving in the business accelerator world and, as we defined that the target audience would be mainly investors and early adopters, the logo needed to shout “we are professional” and “we have an amazing New Technology”.
THE DESIGN PROCESS Considering the target and sector, I designed in a modern and sharp style so that the brand created would be solid and unmistakabale. As for the colours, I chose an edgy palette, gradient of magenta, light blue and purple, to get this new technology, fresh but trustworthy appearence.

WAYFARER
Senda Essentials is an Aussie company selling sustainable products for travellers. After a couple of years traveling the owners came up with the idea of a universal purifying device that fits any standard bottle. This year, they want to back it up through Kickstarter, an online fundraising platform, for which my partner and I were hired to create the story and visuals behind this product, the WAYFARER.

THE PROBLEM
“As a traveller, can you imagine drinking pure safe water from any source, anywhere?”
GOALS
TRUSTWORTHY Safety is a must for this product and is the main reason users will buy it.
ADAPTABLE More than 105 country don’t have access to clean and safe water yet. Therefore, travellers leaving developed nations need to buy non-reusable water bottles so they don’t get sick. The WAYFARER is changing that scenario.
Travellers seek light and flexible gear that fits any possible scenario during a trip.
SUSTAINABLE Being environmentally conscious is no longer an option but an obligation.
