recreation center autocad, revit, sketchup, illustrator | design for a new ymca in downtown bryan, texas. purpose was to create a lively environment for the users of this recreational facility that would promote physical activity. open floor spaces allow for complete visual interactivity throughout all of the levels. incorporation of the park on the west brings users into not only the building, but the site as a whole. integrated studio required the understanding and design of completel structural and mechanical systems. in collaboration with marny itzkowitz

eye hospital
hospital design
basswood, mat board, autocad, illustrator | site in puyang, china to design eye hospital in twho phases. design focused on keeping the natural green site throughout while focusing on the flow within the buildings. in collaboration with: marny itzkowitz, students from oklahoma university, and students from southereastern university of china.

pattern design
illustrator | design based upon the repetition, rotation, and mirroring of a specific letterform. in this project, the lowercase letter “ r � was made into a mark, then repeated into a pattern and colored.

illustrator | a personal graphic curriculum vitae tri-fold for mailing.

blotted type
font design
illustrator | using a grid made of lines, circles, and diagonals, a unified typeface was created. the typeface was designed to reflect the word “blotted�.

kolor run
graphic design + marketing illustrator, imovie, photoshop | responsible for the branding and marketing for a new philanthropy event. completed logo, tshirt design, signage, logo, photography of event, and promotional video.

installation
plastic bags, cable ties | assembled modules with one material and one form of connection. modules were created by rolled baggies gathered into a blossom, connected with cable ties. by repeating the modules, a patterned surface was created. final installation was hung to make a creative interactive space.

contour comfort
furniture design
plywood | furniture design focused on the utilization of natural connections and friction. limited to one piece of 4’ x 8’ plywood. designed to reflect dimensions and curves of the human body. no use of glue or nails, only natural connection.
vivacious series
spatial study
ink, matboard, cardboard | two and three dimensional study on space and form. use of skewed cubes and spheres to portray the “vivacious� organization of positive and negative spaces.
